Family of optimization systems NopSy#
General description
The software systems of the family NopSy# are designed for solving
general problems of nonlinear optimization in different standard settings:
-
Unconstrained nonlinear minimization (NopSy#1x)
-
Solving the systems of nonlinear equations (NopSy#2x)
-
General nonlinear optimization problem with constraints (NopSy#3x)
In the above names, the symbol x= {A, B, ...} denotes the version of the system.
Advanced features
- Text input of the functional elements.
- Standard syntax of the functional expressions.
- Fast automatic differentiation.
- Efficient implementation of the second-order methods.
- Library of the test problems.
- Support of a series of numerical tests.
- Full theoretical justification.
- Full online documentation support including the original papers on optimization methods.
Implementation
All optimization packages are implemented in Object-Oriented Pascal (Delphi).
Restrictions
In view of the text representation of optimization problems, the number of variables
is bounded by 500.
System requirments
Standard IBM PC running under Windows 2000/XP and later.
